Magnum Cafe, KL

Is not just about ice-cream...

My very first visit to Magnum Cafe,
In Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur,
For Magnum - Best of Belgiun Indulgence...

I'm truly impressed....
By the way they present...
Their hot selling:
Magnum Red Velvet...

Velvety dark chocolate...
Dipped vanilla magnum....
Serving with a slice of classic red velvet,
With a touch of whipped cream cheese,
Red velvet crumbs and crushed pistachios..

Magnum Trifle,
Cashew Meringue,
Mascarpone Cream,
Honey Balsamic cream,
Served with white chocolate,
Dipped vanilla magnum,
Topped with freeze dried raspberries,
And fresh strawberries...

Magnum staff,
Professionally mixing..
All the ingredients.....

It turn out to be like this...
Tasted a bit sourly sweet...
A unique way to satisfied my taste bud..

Baba's Cu~Bits Culinary series

Introduce a new dining culture,
Is exactly what Baba's set out to do,
With Baba's cu~bits series....

 The latest long list of self-produced,
Highly successful cooking series,
Was truly developed,
On feedback from its loyal fans and customers..
Who were calling for more original,
Simple to follow,
And quick recipes..
That had all the tastes and flavours,
Of traditional cooking....

Garnering regular following over 1 million viewers each episode,
The 1st 26-episode season,
Featuring Baba's stalwarts Chef Kamarul,
Was soon followed by a 2nd season,
Which reunited the team of Kamarul,
And his wife, Yati Rahman!~

A 3rd seasons followed that saw Baba's pay due homage,
To some of the most prominent culinary professionals,
Lectureres and celebrity chefs int he country..

Magnum - The Best of Belgian Indulgence

Magnum Presents:
The Best of Belgian Indulgence...
With Mr Shawn Tan,
Category Head (Ice-Cream)
Unilever (Malaysia) Holdings..
And Chef Steven Chin,
Group Executive Chef of Magnum Kuala Lumpur..

Butternut pumpkin soup,
Scent with cinnamon top,
With shaved bitter dark chocolate..

I'd said...
This is really a very uniquely nice combination...
Brand new experience for my taste bud!

Marinated capellini pasta,
With ulam-ulaman,
And served with crisp unagi beignet,
Salted choc emulsion,
Soy reduction and crisp ginger!~

The best appetizer I'd ever tasted!~

Pan seared butterfish fillet,
Served with sauteed baby spinach,
White chocolate 'Beurre blanc" sauce...

I thought having sweet main course,
Will be kind of weird..
But after I have my first sip of this dish...
I totally change my mind...

With the super duper freshness of the fillet,
It actually combines pretty well and blend in,
With the sweetness of white chocolate!~
Simply amazing!!!~~

The Dessert:
Death by Chocolate!~
What a name it have....

Baked to order warm chocolate molten lava cake,
Magnum chocolate brownies ice cream,
Chocolate crunch pearls!~
With half a strawberry!~

I can ensure you,
This is the best dessert I'd ever had!~
No words to describe how yummy it is!~

Magnum is really not just about ice cream...
And Belgiun chocolate is not just about chocolate!~

I'll always remember,
That remarkable pleasureable moments,
Beyond every bite of Magnum Ice Cream..
