Thai's Dessert @ Resort Cafe, Genting

In conjunction with Genting Water Festival 2013,
Coffee Terrace is not the only restaurant,
That offers a variety of Thai's food in Genting......
Which is located in First floor of Resort Hotel...
Is having a variety of Thai's Dessert to choose from,
For their lunch buffet...
:)

Tab-Tim-Grob aka Crispy Water Chestnut,
Is the most common Thai's dessert of all...
And it's very crispy and delicious!~
Foi Thong,
Which is also known as golden threads,
Sounds like some royal thai's dessert to me...
First time trying it......
It tastes ok to me......
Won't particularly fancy this food,
Won't against it as well....

Gluay Kaeg aka banana fritters..
Taste exactly like our fried banana...
:)

Khow Neow Plag Lamyai,
Which is sweet rice pudding with longan...
If you're longan-lover,
You'll probably fall in love with this Thai's dessert!~

Man Tom Khing...
Sweet potatoes with Ginger Syrup......
Sweet potatoes actually partner well with ginger...
Love the taste of it!~

Sangkaya...
Don't exactly know what it is made of......
Can't really taste out what it is made of, too!~
Well, of course,
Since it's dessert,
It's sweet..
:)
Thai Man Cheam,
Steamed Tapioca..
I didn't really want to try this...
As it doesn't look really tempting to me...
And I'm not really into tapioca..
:p

Initially,
My first impression when I saw....
Green rice with Mango?!~
What a weird combination!~
Surprisingly,
Sweet rice mango end up to me,
My top favourite of Thai's dessert!~
After adding in the sauce,
Which taste like coconut + pandan.....
It really bring out the aroma of the mango!~
Perfect combination!~

Stay tune..
For more food we had..
During our buffet lunch,
@ Resort Cafe.....
Operating 11:00am-2:30pm daily,
For lunch buffet.....

  1. Oh, I absolutely love sticky rice and mangoes! It's the first time I'm seeing green rice though.
